Ambassador’s run for healthy lifestyle

Thanks to initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation “The Baku Marathon 2016” was organized on 1 May 2016. Main goal of the event is support the development of sports in Azerbaijan and promote healthy lifestyle.  Among several thousands of people willing to support the idea we could find very diverse domestic and international society.
 

Diplomatic corpus in Baku was also represented by several sportsmen and even the Czech Republic had its representative because Ambassador Vitězslav Pivoňka took part as well. Previous strenuous training bore its sweet fruits and Ambassador finished run with a smile on his face.  He realized after 21 km again that where there is a will there is a way and fulfilling his goal he supported a good idea.

He could chair regular meeting at Embassy on Monday morning as usual.  Further plans in the sportive sphere have not been known yet.  The only is certain that they will emerge.
