Czech and Moravian songs sounded in Calypso

Regular musical program in the club Calypso was unexpectedly enriched by Czech repertoire on Thursday, April 28. The club was visited by Znoimian folk singer Drahoš Chaloupecký, who was in Baku on a private visit.

Local guitarist shared with his Moravian fellow instrument and several hours’ mixture Azerbaijani, Czech and Moravian songs followed.  Performance sparked deserved ovations of the audience. Meeting with Czech and Moravian folk music was finished by joint singing of the song We shall overcome.

Similarly like in the case of Odysseus Calypso did not want Drahoš let go.
