Participants of the meeting discussed development of the interpretation of events which occurred in Czechoslovakia in 1968, compared them with year 1956 in Hungary and Poland and focused their attention on the question whether then Czechoslovak reform attempt could be successful.

Two-hour lasting discussion brought interesting exchange of meanings and became other continuation of the co-operation between historians among diplomats working in Baku and Azerbaijani experts.
