The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Baku is no exception to that. As our economic diplomacy project we have prepared the sectoral business mission to Azerbaijan, which was aimed to promote the Czech agriculture and food industry. The Czech delegation was led by deputy minister of agriculture Mr. Jiri Sir. The visit took place from 16^th till 19^th May 2017 and deputy minister was accompanied by following companies: Chamber of Trade and Industry for CIS Countries , AB Clima s.r.o. , AGROMONT Vimperk s.r.o. , Bohemia Jihlava a.s. , EGAP a.s. , EGT Express CZ s.r.o. , Mraz Agro CZ s.r.o. a Agricultural Cooperative Mrákov .

The working program of the whole mission was very busy. With the intention to address new Azerbajani companies interested in cooperation with the Czech Republic, two official business meetings were organized and so to already customary business forum in Baku a new event in Ganja was added. The meetings between Czech and Azerbaijani businessmen, which took place in the both cities consecutively, have shown a huge interest among Azerbaijani companies for the Czech products. The participants payed the most attention to the  Czech breeds of cattle (both diary and meat), various feed forms for cattle and other domestic animals, livestock housing technologies, food processing technologies and agricultural mechanization.
