Czech Participation at the International Tourism Fair AITF 2017 in Baku

This year's exhibition season in Azerbaijan has been opened by AITF 2017 tourism fair, which took place from 5th to 7th April at the Baku Expo Center.  Among 21 countries which chose to present themselves at the fair, the Czech Republic could not be missing. The official stand was organized by the CzechTourism state agency, which provided the opportunity for the representatives of Astra and Destination travel agencies, Teplice spa and Karlovy Vary region to promote the Cezch Republic as a popular touristic destination. On the first day of the exhibition the Czech Ambassador to Azerbaijan H.E. Vitezslav Pivonka personally supported their efforts. 

In addition to that, CzechTourism in cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Baku organized a presentation for the Azerbaijani partners of the Czech travel agencies. The presentation, delivered by Mrs. Alena Kudilkova, head of the CzechTourism office for CIS countries, was focused on Baroque monuments in the Czech Republic and allowed the representatives of Azerbaijani travel agencies to see the Czech basin from a whole new perspective. The presentation was followed by a glass of wine and networking opportunities.
