Long term visas and residence permits (WITH THE EXCEPTION OF EMPLOYMENT CARDS): system of registration of applicants at the Czech Embassy

An appointment for submitting a long term visa or residence permit application (WITH THE EXCEPTION OF EMPLOYMENT CARDS – SEE BELOW FOR FURTHER INFORMATION) must be registered in advance by sending an email to baku.visa@mzv.gov.cz. Please note that only emails in English, Russian or Czech languages will be accepted.

All email requests must contain all the information specified below. The emails with missing or incomplete information will not be processed.

Information the applicant is required to provide consists of:

  • name and surname of an applicant;
  • exact type of a residence permit the applicant intends to apply for (study, family unification, business, science, sports, etc.);
  • contact details of an applicant (email, phone);
  • number of his/her travel document;
  • electronic copy of the data page of the applicant’s travel document together with electronic copy of the document declaring the purpose of his/her stay (e. g. certificate of study, commercial register statement etc.) both in the pdf format; without the information stated above the email request is invalid and will not be considered.

The rule one applicant per one email request shall be strictly observed.

Email requests will be sorted into one infinite line according to the date, hour, minute and second of their arrival into the respective email address and in the exactly same order the appointments will be assigned to the applicants. The Embassy has a right to ignore any email request sent to a wrong email address, or not containing required information and/or required documents.

Applications for long-term visa or residence permit are accepted at the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Baku on Monday and Tuesday.

Confirmation of appointment: Consular section will respond to all valid email requests by sending a confirmation email with the assigned time and date of appointment for submitting the long-term visa application.

In case an applicant cannot come on the assigned date, he/she must send another email and request a new appointment via baku.visa@mzv.gov.cz.
