OCSC is the largest educational fair in Thailand with 375 exhibitors from 27 countries present this year. The exhibition was visited by almost 22,000 students, parents and other candidates for higher education outside of Thailand.

This year, the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, Masaryk University Brno, Mendel University Brno, Charles University Prague, University of Pardubice, Tomas Bata University in Zlín and the University of Economics Prague were presented by the Embassy. In addition to the propagation of the mentioned universities, the educational program of the Czech Republic "StudyIN" was introduced, as well as other Czech universities, all of that in cooperation with the governmental institution Center for International Cooperation in Education.

In spite of strong competition from the universities from Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Great Britain, Ireland, France, Sweden, Germany, and from V4 countries also Poland and Hungary, the interested candidates for study abroad constantly surrounded the Czech booth “Study in the Czech Republic”. Some have come from curiosity, others with a specific vision of study in the Czech Republic.

For many Asian students, learning and living in Europe is increasingly interesting. And in this respect, we have a lot to offer. The Czech Republic is generally known as a popular tourist destination among Thais. It was therefore very useful to introduce the Czech Republic as a country that can offer high quality education at much lower costs both for study and for living than other EU countries.
