The project, implemented by the NGO Education for Development-Lao, also includes a series of workshops targeting eight teacher-training colleges located in each of the targeted provinces. As part of them, current and future teachers will be trained in the use of the Momosign educational program, which will then help children learn mathematics, English and Lao languages in an interactive form. In total, more than 260 teachers will pass the training and up to 12,000 primary school children in the eight target provinces should benefit from teaching through the Momosign program.

The Embassy hereby congratulates and thanks EDF-Lao for the implementation of the project and wishes a lot of strength in further activities aimed at improving the primary education of children in Laos.
