The Celebration of European Day of Languages in Bangkok

On Wednesday, September 26, 2018, the representatives of Embassy of the Czech Republic participated at the European Languages Café. The event took place on the annual occasion of the European Day of Languages. The purpose of this day (proclaimed by the Council of Europe on 6 December 2001) is to promote and motivate people to study European languages.
This year´s event was held in the premises of the cultural center Alliance Francaise and besides the Czech Republic the representatives of majority of the EU embassies participated the event as well, namely Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
Embassy of the Czech Republic prepared a number of activities making visitors familiar with the Czech language, culture, geography, and cuisine.
European Languages Café was a great success among the visitors and the Czech Republic's Embassy in Bangkok is looking forward to the European Languages Café event next year.
