Entry rules to the Czech Republic

Due to restrictions related to the Covid-19 pandemic the travelling from Thailand to the Czech Republic remains partly restricted until further notice.

The entry to the Czech Republic is governed by the Protective Measure of the Ministry of Health.

Thailand is considered as a country with a very high risk of covid-19 transmission.

Entry rules vary for fully vaccinated and non-vaccinated persons as follows:

I: Persons vaccinated in Thailand can travel to the Czech Republic under the following conditions:

  1. They were fully vaccinated with one of the following vaccines
    1. Vaxzevria (formerly AstraZeneca)
    2. Spikevax (Moderna)
    3. Comirnaty (by Pfizer BioNTech)
    4. Janssen (by Johnson & Johnson)
    5. Covishield (AstraZeneca by Serum Institute of India).
  2. Two weeks must have passed after administration of a second dose of a two-dose series of vaccine or of a single-dose vaccine before travel.
  3. They posses a vaccination certificate recognized by the Czech Republic.
  4. Obligatory negative PCR test before arrival (no older than 72 hours).
  5. Fill in an entry form before arrival.
  6. Obligatory PCR test between 5th and 7th day after the arrival; until receiving a negative test result it is obligatory to wear a respirator outside of the accomodation.

 

II: Persons fully vaccinated in other countries can travel to the Czech Republic under the following conditions:

  1. They were fully vaccinated with one of the following vaccines
    1. Vaxzevria (formerly AstraZeneca)
    2. Spikevax (Moderna)
    3. Comirnaty (by Pfizer BioNTech)
    4. Janssen (by Johnson & Johnson)
    5. Covishield (AstraZeneca by Serum Institute of India).

III. Unvaccinated persons or persons vaccinated by one of the unrecognized vaccines (for example Sinovac, Sinopharm, Sputnik) can travel from Thailand to the Czech Republic under the following conditions:

  1. Short-term travel continues to be restricted to essential reasons.
  2. Holders of all types of a long-term visa/residence permit can travel from Thailand to the Czech Republic.
  3. Obligatory negative PCR test before arrival (no older than 72 hours)
  4. Fill in an entry form before arrival.
  5. Obligatory PCR test between 5th and 7th day after the arrival; until receiving a negative test result it is obligatory to wear a respirator outside of the accomodation.

 

Children under 12 are exempted from all epidemiological requirements.
