Entry rules to the Czech Republic

Due to restrictions related to the Covid-19 pandemic the travelling from Thailand to the Czech Republic remains partly restricted until further notice.

The entry to the Czech Republic is governed by the Protective Measure of the Ministry of Health.

All travelers must

  1. fill out a Passenger Locator Form before arrival;
  2. upon entry, present one of the following:
  • vaccination certificate OR
  • certificate about recovery from Covid-19 within last 180 days OR
  • negative PCR test not older than 72 hrs. OR
  • negative AG test not older than 24 hrs. OR

Vaccination certificate is valid 14 days after the end of the vaccination for the period of 270 days. This period may be extended by the covid booster shot. Certificate of vaccination of children between 12-18 years is not time-limited.

Children under 12 are exempted from all epidemiological requirements.

Un-vaccinated travelers who arrive from non-EU countries must also get tested with a PCR method 5th – 7th day after arrival (if their stay is not shorter). Until receiving a negative test result it is obligatory to wear a respirator outside of the accomodation.
