Short-term visa - Due to the ongoing covid-19 developments in Thailand and the recently imposed restrictions by the Bangkok administration, the VFS Global Visa Application Centre in Bangkok is closed from July 21, 2021, until further notice.

Based on that, all applications should be temporarily lodged through the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bangkok. All applicants are requested to arrange an appointment via consular_bangkok@mzv.cz and to enter the premises individually with a face mask on.

Representation of the Czech Republic by France in the field of Schengen visas in Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar remains suspended until further notice.

Long-term visa / Residence permit - Applications can be submitted to the Embassy. Applicants are to arrange an appointment at visa_bangkok@mzv.cz and enter the premises individually with a face mask on.

Employee Card - Applications can be submitted only in a slot allocated on the basis of an electronic appointment reservation made on a date notified on the website of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bangkok. As we have to first allocate slots for applicants, whose appointments were cancelled in November-December 2020, new applications will be accepted from the end of June 2021 on. The electronic appointment reservation will open on June 16, 2021 at 14:00 Thai local time.

The applicants, whose appointments were cancelled in November and December 2020, have been distributed new slots by e-mail.

The applicants, whose visa has been already approved but could not issued due to covid-19 restrictions, are being contacted by the Embassy in order to assign an appointment.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Applicants for Schengen visas and long-term visas and residence permits for purposes of economic and education activities are required to submit document on fulfilling requirements against introduction of infectious disease.
