Visa and Consular section

The Consular and Visa Section of the Embassy of the Czech republic in Beijing covers the following cities, provinces and autonomous regions at the territory of the People's Republic of China: the cities of Beijing, Chongqing and Tianjin, the provinces: Fujian, Gansu, Guangdong, Guizhou, Hainan, Hebei, Heilongjiang, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Jilin, Liaoning, Qinghai, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Shandong, Sichuan, Yunnan and autonomous regions: Guangxi, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Tibet and Xinjiang.

The provinces Anhui, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and the city of Shanghai fall under the Consulate General in Shanghai.

Special Administrative zones Hong Kong and Macao fall under the Consulate General in Hong Kong.

Consulate General in Chengu was closed on December 31, 2022.

Consular services (passports, CzechPoint agenda):
Monday through Friday: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM, by appointment only (please send your request to consulate_beijing@mzv.cz)

Applications for short-term visa (for family members of EU citizens + holders of diplomatic, service or administrative passports only):
Monday through Thursday : 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM, by appointment only (please send your request to consulate_beijing@mzv.cz)

Applications for long term visa and residence permits:
Monday through Thursday : 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM

Pick-up of visas: Monday through Thursday: 11:30 - 11:50 AM

All applications for long term visa and residence permits are accepted on appointment only, personal presence is obligatory. Please follow the instructions in the article "How to register for an appointment".
