Czech Delegation visited the Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre

On May 11th, the former Czech President, Mr. Václav Klaus together with the Czech Ambassador, Mr. Vladimír Tomšík and the General Manager of the Czech Philharmonic, Mr. Robert Hanč, accompanied by a board member of Home Credit  CFC, visited the Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre and took part in a flower-laying ceremony in the memory of the 300,000 victims of the massacre.

The Czech Ambassador, Mr. Vladimír Tomšík, said, “The Czech Republic and China are both countries that faced similar struggles during the World War II, and thus strive for peace and peaceful cooperation. Through the universal language of music, nations and countries can connect and build a better and brighter future for mankind. Visit of the Memorial Hall took part on the occasion of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra 2019 China Tour, with its first performance in Nanjing.
