Chinese Students Discussed Czechia and the Work of Diplomats

On Friday, February 15, 2019, Chinese students from primary and secondary schools met with diplomats of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Beijing. At the beginning of the event, Lukáš Pokorný, director of the CzechTourism Agency in Beijing, introduced the Czech Republic to students as an enticing tourist and cultural destination. Subsequently, our diplomats Ondřej Wágner from the Political Section and Dalibor Jenne from the Economic Section engaged with the students and discussed work of diplomats. The students also had the chance to learn more about study opportunities in the Czech Republic.

Students from primary and secondary schools in Beijing, Nanjing, Hohhot and Dunhua visited the Embassy of the Czech Republic as part of the leisure cultural and educational program at the end of the celebrations of the Chinese New Year. HuaXia Diplomatic Relation Organization and Fengwen International Cultural Communication Center co-organised the event. The organisers pledged to donate the proceeds from the program for charity purposes, specifically to children in need.
