Joint meeting of EU and ASEAN ambassadors as part of CZ PRES at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Beijing

The Embassy of the Czech Republic together with the Delegation of the European Union in Beijing organized a joint meeting of the ambassadors of the European Union (EU) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Beijing undertook the organization of this traditional format as part of the program of its presidency. The discussion allowed all participants to exchange views on many current issues in the world and in the regions of Europe and Asia and their impact on global affairs, such as trade, health or the fight against climate change.
The discussion was timed to take place ahead of the EU-ASEAN summit, scheduled on December 14 in Brussels this year. This event will celebrate 45 years of diplomatic relations between the EU and ASEAN.
