Czech Minister for Regional Development Karla Šlechtová visited China

In the days 13-22 May 2016 the Czech minister for Regional Development Mrs. Karla Šlechtová visited China. During her stay in the PRC, minister K. Šlechtová visited Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Zhengzhou, Shanghai and Beijing.

During her stay in Hong Kong, minister K. Šlechtová meet with the representatives of Hong Kong´s government. In Guangzhou, the minister had a meeting with the president of the Association of travel agencies of the Guangdong province, in Zhengzhou the ministerial delegation met with the representatives of the Association of travel agencies  of Henan province. In Shanghai the delegation met with the leadership of the aviation company China Eastern. The minister ´s visit to China culminated in Beijing, where she took part in "First Conference  on Tourism for Development" organized by United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). The conference, which was offically opened by Chinese prime minister Li, was attended by 107 countries and 72 ministers. Minister K. Šlechtová spoke at the conference at the part titled "Tourism fo Peace". Her speech was covering the activities that Czechia undertakes in the area of tourism towards contributing to maintaining world peace.
