Representatives of major Chinese companies tasted traditional Czech alcoholic beverages

Representatives of major Chinese companies such as COFCO, Alibaba Group, HNA Group, Wanda Vista Group, St.Rgis, Orange Hotels, Ritz-Carlton, Chunbo, CAWA, CCTV, China national Radio, Three Gorges Group, Škoda China, Chinese food and beverage importers, Beijing bar owners, foreign diplomats, universities, atc. joined the special degustation reception "Czech Beverage Night Beijing 2017" on Thursday 25 May 2017 at the Gradn Hotel Ritz-Carlton Beijing.
About 350 guests have came to the event to taste Czech alcoholic beverages including the famous Czech beer Budejovicky Budvar, Dalešice, Ferdinand, Litovel, Noisy Whisper, Zubr, wines from wineries Bohemia Sekt, Hanzel, Lahofer, Ludwig, Proqin, Templářské sklepy and spirits and liquors from traditional distilleries Jan Becher, L´Or a Rudolf Jelínek.
The guests had the chance to witness demonstrations of sabrage by the triple Czech sabrage champion Mr Martin Prokes, or to taste the traditional Bohemian "flaming" way of serving absynthe by Mr Marek vyskocil of the company Bluetouch.
The event was sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic as a project of economic diplomacy of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs and under the patronage of H.E. Mr Bedrich Kopecky, Ambassador of the Czech Republic and three representatives of the Czech Bartender Association (CBA) from Prague - Mr Tomas Brůha (best Czech sommelier), Mr Mojmir Prokes (top Czech beer specialist) and Mr Martin Vogeltanz (2nd vice-champion of the world and triple champion of the czech Republic in mixed drinks). The event was covered by Chinese global media (CCTV, Belt and Road Reports, etc.).
