At the CIMT fair, which takes place every odd year and of which first year was held in 1989, Czech companies traditionally had their joint exhibition, this time with a size of 142 m². A total of 11 companies presented themselves, namely: FERMAT CZ, s.r.o., FERMAT Machine Tool, s.r.o., FERMAT STROJE LIPNÍK, s.r.o., Hestego, a.s., KSK Precise Motion, a.s., ŠKODA MACHINE TOOL, a.s., RETOS VARNSDORF s.r.o., TOS Olomouc s.r.o. , TOS VARNSDORF a.s., VÚTS, a.s. and WALTER CZ, s.r.o. Traditionally, the Czech Association of Engineering Technology also participated.

The Czech Republic participated in the fair as an official Czech participation organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. The realization of the stand was ensured by Veletrhy Brno, a.s.

On the second day of the fair, a networking event called "Digital and Green Transformation" took place at the Czech exposition. It was officially opened by the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Beijing Vladimír Tomšík in the company of representatives of the Chinese Association of Machine Tool Industry Wang Liming and the Czech Association of Engineering Technology Bedřich Musil. This was followed by a free debate with individual Czech companies. In addition to the exhibitors and the public, the staff of Czech Television was also present at the opening ceremony.

The China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT) has been organized by the China Machine Tool Industry Association since 1989, i.e. for 34 years. Representatives of Czech companies participated in all years. This year, on April 10-15, 2023, on a total area of ​​140,000 m2 was attended by more than 1,600 exhibitors from 28 countries and regions of the world.
