Czech Companies Were the Highlight of the China Hi-Tech Fair in Shenzhen

Technology companies from the Czech Republic were the centre of attention at the China Hi-Tech Fair in Shenzhen 16-21 November 2017, which is also called sometimes the Chinese Silicon Valley. Czech products and solutions in the areas of green technologies, mobile software or semiconductors caught the interest of many Chinese partners. The Czech participation was personally supported by the Czech Ambassador Bedřich Kopecký, who welcomed the Chinese Minister of Science and Technology, Mr. Wan Gang, at the Czech pavilion.

The Czech participation at the China Hi-Tech Fair consisted of six companies. The largest part of the Czech pavilion was occupied by the new company Applinno, specialising in nanofibers protecting from pollution. Environmental technologies were also presented by companies Nafigate and Smart Heating Technology. Compelson presented its sophisticated software for mobile phones and Travel a la Carte drew attention with its innovative travel application. SVCS Process Innovation introduced its technology of horizontal furnaces and other products.

The Czech pavilion was amongst the most visited at the fair and Czech companies proved that they have interesting technologies to offer for the competitive Chinese market. The Czech pavilion was organised by the trade promotion agency CzechTrade Guangzhou, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and the Czech Embassy in Beijing. The Czech Ambassador also met with the Vicemayor of Shenzhen, Mr. Ai Xuefeng, and introduced the upcoming Czech activities in Shenzhen for 2018. Among these activities, Czech Republic plans to participate at the China Hi-Tech Fair 2018 as a partner country and follow up on its successful presentation this year.
