Ambassador Doležel met head of the Maronite Church, patriarch Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi

On Octobre 26, 2021, Ambassador of the Czech Republic Jiří Doležel met with Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi, Maronite Patriarch of Antioch. They discussed relations between the Czech Republic and Lebanon as well as the possibilities of assistance by the Czech Republic to the country hit by a strong political and economic crises. Patriarch Al-Rahi explained the historical origins of the current crises and outlined a possible way-out.
