During November and December 2016 Ambassador Michaela Froňková paid a series of courtesy calls on  Lebanese authorities.  Ambassador met with  the Prime Minister- designate Saad Hariri, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Gebran Bassil, Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Latif Daryan‎,  Deputy Head of the Higher Shiite Islamic Council Sheikh ‎Qabalan and Patriarch Béchara Butrus Raï. Meetings focused mainly on the bilateral relations, political developments in Lebanon and in the region.
