Starting November 15, 2017 the acceptance of the Schengen (short-stay) visa applications of the Lebanese citizens (up to 90 days) and for the non Lebanese citizensis (with the Residence permit in Lebanon) is possible through the VFS Global Center in Beirut  (Verdun, Concord Building, 5th Floor). 

The role of the VFS Global service provider will be to assist with completing the visa application and to accept the submitted application, including the collection of biometrics. The decision of the visa application is within the competency of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Beirut.

Schengen visa applications will continue to be accepted at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Beirut based on an appointment system. Long-term (over 90 days) and Transit visa applications can be submitted only at the Embassy.
