EU Milky Way – promotion of Czech dairy products in Lebanon

The Czech and Moravian Dairy Association (ČMSM) participated in the hospitality and foodservice industries trade fair HORECA (Beirut, 5.-8.4.2016). The Association presented the products of its members under the program co-financed by the EU and Czech Government and organized by Agropromotion agency - EU Milky Way.
The programme is a three-year (2016-2019) initiative targeting specifically the Middle East countries (United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon). EU Milky Way is co-funded by the European Commission, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic, State Agriculture Intervention Fund (SZIF) and the Czech and Moravian Dairy Association (CMSM).
During the fair the Association, represented by its President Mr. Jiri Kropacek organized a conferrence focused on the promotion of products from Mlékárna Hlinsko, Bohušovická mlékárna and Polabské mlékárny and also on the state support for the export of agriculture products. A culinary show was also a part of the conferrence.
The Czech Ambassador Svatopluk Cumba and the Agriculture Attache Eduard Rehacek participated in the event.
