Please note the following information concerning visa applications for the purpose of study:

As of May 18, 2020, it is possible to continue processing of long-term visa / residence permit applications for the purpose of study that have been filed before March 14, 2020. Once the decision on the application is available, the applicant will be notified by the Embassy to pick up the visa / decision. We kindly request applicants to await the Embassy´s notification.

Acceptance of new long-term visa / residence permit applications for the purpose of study continues to be suspended. Resumption of these visa services will be tied to the expected reopening of the external borders of the Schengen Area, currently scheduled for June 15, 2020.
