The Czech Republic opened a new Honorary Consulate in Lausanne headed by Mr Petr Kotal

Mr Petr Kotal has been appointed the Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Lausanne. The Honorary Consulate will be responsible for the francophone cantons of Vaud, Geneva, Jura, Neuchâtel, Valais and Fribourg.

On Tuesday, June 7, 2022, a new Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Lausanne was officially declared open by the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Ms Markéta Pekarová Adamová. Mr Petr Kotal has been appointed as the Honorary Consul.

The Honorary Consulate is located in Rue du Petit-Beaulieu 4, 1004 Lausanne. Starting July 15, 2022, it will be open on Fridays from 10:00 to 14:00 hours. It will be possible to reach the Honorary Consulate by e-mail at lausanne@honorary.mzv.cz, and by telephone at 021 646 1766.

Applicants are kindly requested to contact the Honorary Consulate in Lausanne first and foremost by telephone, e-mail, or post. Unannounced visits in person are generally discouraged. Any necessary in-person visit must be arranged with the Honorary Consulate in advance. During its opening hours, the Honorary Consulate will only see those who have arranged their personal appointment in advance – see the previous clause.
