EU/EEA and Swiss passports must be valid during the stay in the Czech Republic.

Other passports (including Danish alien passports) must be valid for at least 3 months after the stay in the Czech Republic and were issued at some time during the preceding ten years.

Persons older the age of 15 must travel with their own travel document. Exception is given to spouses travelling on the basis of a family passport; however, the family passport must contain a photograph of each person registered in it.

Children under the age of 15 travelling unaccompanied must possess their own travel document with a photograph corresponding to their current appearance.
