Statement of the MFA on the Terrorist Attacks in Paris

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic condemns the series of brutal terrorist attacks against civilians which took place on November 13 in several public places in Paris. We fully support the French governemnt and the measures it has taken to deal with this dreadful and tragic event.

We express our deepest condolences to the families of all the victims; we are shocked by the number of the wounded. France is a cradle of democracy and our close friend. In this testing moment for France, the Czech Republic stands side by side with our French friends  sharing the values that France personifies.
