The expositions of the South Bohemian and Hradec Králové regions were hard to miss at the fair. The organizers of the fair appreciated their quality presentation as well as the presence of representatives who had come from the Czech Republic. The fact that the Wallonian minister of tourism, René Collin, made the Czech stand his first stop immediately after the opening ceremony is proof that Czech presence was not lost even in direct competition with traditional destinations such as France or Italy. Both Czech regions were well represented in Liège as well as a week earlier in Brussels at the Salon de Vacances fair, which was attended by Czechtourism along with other Czech regions, and succeeded in portraying the Czech Republic as a great destination for a pleasant vacation.
