Conditions for entry to the Czech Republic - as of 30 January non-essential travels banned

As of 30 January 2021 travelling to the Czech Republic for other than essential reasons is banned, regardless of which country you are travelling from. The non-essential travel ban is based on Resolution of the Government of the Czech Republic on the Adoption of Crisis Measures. Detailed information by Ministry of Interior. This restriction does not apply to the Czech citizens.

The rules for entering the territory of the Czech Republic and quarantine measures are defined by the Ministry of Health. Conditions for entry of persons to the territory of the Czech Republic in accordance with the Ministry of Health Protective Measure are based on the nationality of the person (category of persons) and at the same time based on the country from which the person enters. The list of countries with a low risk of COVID-19 incidents is updated regularly based on established criteria.
