Czech government has approved the partial relaxation of certain measures from Monday 20 April

The Government of the Czech Republic has taken the following measures due to coronavirus proliferation during its meeting on 17 April 2020.

1) The proposal to increase the amount of nursing allowance (for parents of children under 13 years of age) from the current 60 percent of the daily assessment base to 80 percent of the daily assessment base, has been adopted,

2) the measure of the Ministry of Health, which releases some extraordinary measures since April 20, has been adopted. On Monday, following business can be reopened: craft workshops (except for professions where the direct physical contact with clients is present), car dealers, outdoor markets or dog salons. From the same date, students of the last year of university programs may return back to schools for individual consultations. Last but not least, weddings of up to 10 people and outdoor training sessions of professional athletes (both under strict hygienic conditions) can be held as well,

3) as of April 27, church services with a maximum of 15 persons can be held under strict hygienic conditions,

4) the regional council presidents and the city mayor of Prague are obliged, due to governmental extraordinary measure, to provide the necessary care also to children, whose legal representatives are employees in the bodies of the Financial Administration and the Financial Analytical Office,

5) the financial assistance to two expatriate associations in the UK has been approved by the government from its budget reserve. Supported associations are Comenius Schools in the United Kingdom and Compas Charity in Peterborough. Associations will receive CZK 150,000.
