From March 16th, 2020 until the end of the state of emergency, the ban to travel from the Czech Republic is applied on citizens of the Czech Republic. Foreigners residing in the Czech Republic with temporary residence over 90 days or permanent residence are allowed to leave the Czech Republic, however, they will not be allowed to re-enter the country until the end of the state of emergency. The Czech Republic’s entry ban is applied on all foreigners. The only exception is foreigners with temporary residence over 90 days or permanent residence in the Czech Republic who were abroad at the moment of the declaration of the state of emergency.
ATTENTION for EU citizens arriving to the Czech republic: The possibility of entry based on different documents than the Confirmation of temporary residence or the Confirmation of permanent residence on the territory of the Czech Republic will end on April 5th, 2020 - those who wants to arrive to the Czech Republic because they have a residence, work, school and so on here, they must do so as soon as possible! This measure is a time-limited because it is intended to be only ONE-OFF RETURN for people living here.
