An opening ceremony of Czech UNESCO World heritage sites pictures exhibition

On the 16th of February 2016, the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU held the opening ceremony of the exhibition displaying Czech UNESCO World heritage sites.

 

The event was opened by the Czech Ambassador in Brussels Jaroslav Kurfürst and Czech MEP Michaela Šojdrová. Among hundreds of guests, the opening ceremony was attended by the Director of UNESCO’S Liaison office in Brussels Paolo Fontan or Czech MEPs Olga Sehnalova and Tomáš Zdechovský.

UNESCO Czech Heritage exhibition aims to present twelve Czech UNESCO World heritage sites which are exceptional for their cultural, historical or architectural value and complete the unique character of the Czech Republic. Particular information boards present well-known tourist destinations such as Prague, Brno, Český Krumlov, Kutná Hora, Holašovice or Žďár nad Sázavou and more.

The exhibition is held at the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU till the 11th March 2016.
