CZ PRES: visit of EU Member States Ambassadors to Belgium to the German-speaking Community in Eupen

On 22 November, the EU HoMs visited the German-speaking Community, whose government and parliament are based in Eupen. The visit was organised by the Czech Embassy in Brussels in its role of the Czech EU Presidency.
Within the Belgian Federation, this Community is part of the Flemish Region.
The visit was focused on the permanent citizens´ dialogue as a specific form of participatory democracy, initiated and used by the German-speaking Community.
The HoMs met with the President of the Parliament, Karl-Heinz Lambertz, and the Minister-President, Oliver Paasch.
