Participation of the Embassy of the Czech Republic to Belgium at the European Parliament event commemorating deported citizens of Central and Eastern European countries

In the afternoon of the 14th of June, an event was held in front of the European Parliament to commemorate the deported citizens of Central and Eastern Europe under the title "Commemoration of mass Soviet deportations from Central and Eastern Europe".



 

The commemoration event, during which the names of those who were deported were read out by the participants, was organized by the Members of the European Parliament. Reading of the names of these victims was concluded by the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola. Deputy Ambassador Eva Kordova took part in the reading on behalf of the Embassy of the Czech Republic to Belgium.
