The exhibition was opened by the Director of the Museum of the Romanian Border Police Cristian Fiera and a high-school student Camelia Stoian, who acted as the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Romania within the so-called Takeover Day. Among approx. 50 guests there were representatives of the city, General Inspectorate of Romanian Border Police, media and general public. Ambassador Jiří Šitler received a commemorative medal and a diploma of honor by the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Border Police.

The exhibition was prepared in collaboration of the Embassy of the Czech Republic with the Military History Institute in Prague and a Public Diplomacy Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. The exposition involves – among others – works of the following artists: František Kupka, Otto Gutfreund, Emil Filla, Jan Štursa, Václav Špála, Josef Váchal, Vincenc Beneš, Ladislav Šíma and Vojtěch Preissig.
