The Summer School was organized by the Civic Academy Foundation in cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung to mark the 20^th anniversary of the Memorial. Among the participants were the guests from the Czech Republic Petruška Šustrová, Chairwoman of the Council of the Institute for the Study of Totalitarian Regimes, and Libuše Valentová of the Faculty of Arts of Charles University.
