On 14 July 2014, in the city of Mangalia J. Šitler met a mayor Radu Cristian, with whom he discussed mostly options for involvement of Czech companies in a project of revitalization of public space (green infrastructure, public lighting etc.), potential for Czech tourism in the region and other topics.

On 15 July 2014, in Constanta the Ambassador met a Director General of the County Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Navigation and Agriculture (CCINA) Ion Danut Juganaru, with whom he among others discussed Czech investments in the region, which is mostly ČEZ in Fantanele-Cogealac; the Ambassador also valued participation of CCINA Constanta at the events organized by the Embassy.
