A chamber opera about a Catholic priest Josef Toufar, who was tortured to death by the communist regime in Czechoslovakia in 1950, was a great success in Bucharest. It was proved by a long applause and ovations for a remarkable performance by Soňa Červená, Vladimír Javorský, Jan Mikušík and a girl´s choir, as well as by following meeting of audience with main actors-singers. Among enthusiastic audience there was also Chargé d´Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the Czech Republic Tomáš Vostrý who congratulated the performers.
