Stanislav Kázecký and Jiří Šitler visited the villages of Bígr, Gerník, Eibentál, Rovensko, Svatá Helena and Šumica, met with representatives of the Democratic Union of Slovaks and Czechs in Romania, members of municipal councils as well as teachers of Czech schools and discussed with them promotion of cultural activities of the associations of compatriots. In connection with the project of promoting tourism in the region they also discussed with local authorities the construction of wind farms in the vicinity of the villages of Gerník and Svatá Helena. On 20 August, they attended the 12^th Czech Folk Festival in Gerník.
