Delegation of the Czech Ministry of Defence and Association of Czechoslovak Legionaries in Dobruja

On the occasion of a journey around Czech military graves in the Balkans, the delegation participated at a religious and military ceremonial at the monument to fallen heroes in Medgidia on 3 September 2016.

The event commemorated 100 years of the battles in Dobruja, where also many Czech soldiers participated and died. Tomáš Vostrý, Chargé d´Affaires of the Embassy of the Czech Republic, and Pavel Filipek of the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic, laid a wreath at the monument.
