In a friendly conversation both sides reflected a rich tradition of relations between the two countries and discussed possibilities for their further development, particularly in the fields of political, economic and cultural cooperation. At the same time the two dignitaries highlighted the importance of continuing excellent cooperation between the Czech Republic and Romania within the EU and NATO.
