Photo exhibition Invasion 68 Prague opens in Timisoara

On 6 March 2014, an exhibition of photographs Invazie 68 Praga by Josef Koudelka was opened in Timisoara and will continue till 6 April 2014. The exhibition was organized by the Czech Centre in Bucharest in cooperation with the French Institute.

Director of the Czech Center Bucharest René Kubášek and director of the French Institute in Romania Stanislas Pierret opened in Halele Timco in Timisoara the exhibition, which illustrates first days in Prague after the invasion of Prague by the troops of the Warsaw Pact with the exception of Romania to Czechoslovakia in 1968. At the opening, besides the prefect of the Timis County Eugen Dogariu there were about 500 visitors.
