Prime Minister of the Czech Republic visited Romania

On 25 – 26 November 2013, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Jiří Rusnok lead a delegation of the Czech Republic at the meeting of Heads of Governments within the initiative of China towards countries of Central, East and South-East Europe.

Besides the Prime Minister the delegation was composed of the Czech Ambassador to China L. Sečka, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs T. Dub, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade P. Šolc and others. Accompanying business delegation headed by the President of Czech Chamber of Commerce P. Kužel participated at the parallel Economic and Trade Forum.

On 26 November 2013, J. Rusnok had bilateral talks with the Prime Minister of Romania V. Ponta. Both Prime Ministers valued long tradition of bilateral relations and discussed potentials for further development of economic relations and Czech investment in Romania. They also discussed the coming Eastern Partnership Summit in Vinius.

On the same day, J. Rusnok also had bilateral meetings with the Prime Minister of China Li Keqiang and the Prime Minister of Albania E. Rama.
