Vojtěch Belling met with the Minister of European Affairs Leonard Orban, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Luminiţa Odobescu, Counselor to the President Bogdan Manoiu and National Coordinator for the  EU Danube Strategy Viorel Ardeleanu.  They discussed in particular the new multi-annual financial framework of the EU as well as  the cohesion policy, drawing of  EU funds, the Common Agricultural Policy and the EU Strategy for the Danube Region. When talking about Romania´s accession to the Schengen area, the Romanian party highly appreciated the Czech Republic´s support.
