H.E. Mr. Lubomír Zaorálek visited Egypt on January 30 – February 1, 2016

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, H.E. Lubomir Zaoralek, paid his official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt, January 30 through February 1, 2016. He was accompanied by a delegation of members of the Czech entrepreneurial circles.

During his visit, Minister Zaoralek met a number of high representatives of the Egyptian political and public life. Apart from his counterpart, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, H.E. Sameh Shoukry, he was also received by the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, H.E. Abd Al Fattah Al Sisi, in Ittihadeya Palace, Heliopolis. Minister Zaoralek also held talks with Minister of Military Production, H.E. Mohamed Saed El Assar, and Minister of Antiquities, H.E. Mamdouh El Damaty. On the occasion of the reception held at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Cairo, Minister Zaoralek met with seven members of the newly elected House of Representatives, with whom he exchanged views on the current political situation and the role of the parliament in country's political life.

Minister Zaoralek opened the Egyptian-Czech Business Forum in the Federation of Egyptian Industries, and visited the Czech Institute of Egyptology excavation plot south of Giza.
