The program was made up of four presentations and was attended by 60 guests. The presenters were Professor Miroslav Bárta, the Director of the Czech Institute of Egyptology in Prague and in Cairo of Charles University, Dr. Jozef Hudec, from the Institute of Orientalism at the Slovak Academy of Sciences, and Dr. Gabriela Dembitz, from the French National Center for Scientific Research, Paul Valéry University, Montpellier. The Egyptian Arab Republic’s Ministry of Antiquities’ support for the symposium was demonstrated by the presence of the head of pharaonic sector, Mr. Mahmoud Afify.
