42nd International Children's Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2014 Awarding in Alexandria Sporting Club

The representatives of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Cairo handed over honourable mention diplomas to two young Egyptian ladies for their participation in the 42nd International Children's Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2014. The awarding ceremony took place in the Alexandria Sporting Club on 26th January 2015. Beside the two young ladies, Ms. Aymen Merna El Mallah and Ms. Salma Yacout, the Alexandria Sporting Club President, Eng. Abdul Hamid Badawi, attended the ceremony.
The theme of the 42nd International Children's Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2014 was "Family Farming, or our Garden and Field". Beside the honourable mention diplomas, the Embassy awarded Ms. Aymen and Ms. Salma two sets of the new Arabic translation of Franz Kafka's short stories, translation of which was carried out in the framework of a common project of the Embassy and the local publisher in January 2014.
