Employee cards / long-term visa (seasonal work) – how to make an appointment

The following conditions are set for the application process for an employee card / long-term visa (seasonal work).

The rule applies: one e-mail = one applicant, registration requests for multiple persons in one e-mail are not accepted.

Registration requests must be sent exclusively to the designated e-mail cairo.employment@mzv.gov.cz. The registration application must have the following structure and meet the conditions listed below:

Part 1 (email subject):

• only the unique number of the applicant's foreign passport must be specified in the subject of the e-mail

Part 2 (the body of the email)

• the following information must be included in the body/text of the e-mail:

name and surname of the applicant (in Latin alphabet, exactly according to the applicant's passport)

date of birth of the applicant

applicant's phone number

applicant's email

Part 3 (email attachments):

• in e-mail attachments: the applicant must enclose attachments in pdf format (links to attachments located in cloud storage are not accepted):

a copy of the data page of your travel document with personal data and photo

a copy of a document proving the purpose of the stay, i.e. a copy of an employment contract with a Czech employer not older than 180 days

Sending the required data only in the form of attachments is not sufficient, it is necessary to fill in the data in the body/text of the e-mail as well. At the same time, the data in the text of the e-mail must correspond in full and in detail to the data in the attachments. If they are different, the registration request is discarded.

Each application for registration must be sent only once and wait for the consulate's response.

 

The application for registration will not be accepted for processing in the following cases:

 

o the unique number of the applicant's foreign passport will not be mentioned in the subject of the e-mail

o the applicant does not provide all the required information in the body/text of the e-mail

o the applicant does not attach both required attachments

o proof of the purpose of stay, i.e. the employment contract will be older than 180 days

o the applicant saves the attachments to cloud storage and only includes links to them in the email

o the data in the text of the e-mail will differ from the data in the attachments

o the applicant sends his application to another e-mail address that is not intended for the registration of applicants for employee cards

o there will be more than one applicant for registration

o e-mail will be delivered to the e-mail box before the start of ordering, i.e. before the specified day and time

o the applicant sends several e-mails - each applicant can only send 1 e-mail; if one applicant sends multiple e-mails in a given period, he/she will be automatically excluded from this ordering period, even if the e-mails are sent from different e-mail addresses

 

Registration e-mails that have the functionality of not being able to send a reply from the mailbox to which they are delivered (activated by the sender) will be also eliminated from registration.

 

Applicants who send an e-mail application for registration that meets all the above criteria and the quota is not used up, are subsequently informed of the application deadline by e-mail. Dates are allocated chronologically in the order of delivery of registration requests to the e-mail box cairo.employment@mzv.gov.cz

The consulate does not interfere in the order of delivered e-mails. It is not possible to change the allocated appointment and requests of this type are not answered. If the applicant does not appear within the set appointment, his appointment is forfeited and he must register again in the standard manner described above.

An answer is usually received within 5 working days.

After the specified quota has been exhausted, the applicant is informed of this fact from the e-mail box cairo.employment@mzv.gov.cz in the form of an automatic reply. Applicants will not respond to this automatic response and the embassy will not respond to questions in this context.

If the appointment was not assigned to you, it means that either your e-mail did not meet the specified criteria, or it was sent earlier than it was set, or the quota has already been used up. The representative office will not respond to any further questions sent to you in this context.

 

Notice

Registration emails are used exclusively for registration to submit an application and no questions are answered through them.

Please note that attempts to mass send registration requests using software tools may be evaluated as spam by the anti-spam security of the mzv.cz domain, in order to ensure the functionality of the system for all applicants, as a result of which such registrations will not be taken into account.
