"A pleasure to welcome a special guest to Government House. His Excellency Tomas Dub, Ambassador of the Czech Embassy in Canberra is visiting Western Australia. The Ambassador spoke in glowing terms about Australia and our way of life and his discussion with the Governor covered how the Ukraine war and winter in Europe painted a very different immediate outlook to that in Australia. The Ambassador is keen for stronger connections between our countries, especially through our young people, including university student exchanges."
