Czech Stand at the festival Windows to the World

On Saturday 12th October 2019, the Embassy of the Czech Republic set up stall as part of the Windows to the World festival. During the festival, many diplomatic missions opened up their gates and allowed visitors to visit spaces that are normally closed to the public. Participating countries also had the opportunity to give visitors a taste of their culture, traditions and national dishes.

The Czech stand focused mainly on study opportunities and tourism in the Czech Republic, accompanied by informational flyers and brochures which stirred up interest in these areas. Authentic Czech cuisine, which was available at the stand, was a big crowd-puller. Visitors had the opportunity to taste potato soup or choose from a wide range of Czech beers, fruit syrups and Kofola, all of which were imported directly from the Czech Republic by European Importers, who supported the event.
